Unlike other home security companies, Vivint’s smart home offerings are customized for renters. Find out about some of the most in demand devices and services:
Intrusion detection
Burglar alarms and glass break sensors can alert you when an unwanted guest comes into your rental unit. Get a notification to your phone if an alarm goes off, or manage your components remotely so you can let in guests or maintenance when you’re not home.
Environmental safety alarms
Ordinary smoke detectors usually come with your rental, but probably not other safety alarms. Install a wireless carbon monoxide alarm or water detector to warn you and Vivint’s monitoring team to problems before it’s too late.
Indoor or doorbell cameras
Your security cameras can be wirelessly installed so you can keep an eye on indoor rooms. A doorbell camera lets you watch -- and converse with -- whoever is at the front door. See real-time HD feeds and alerts about suspicious movement through the mobile security app.
24-hour monitoring
A great benefit of using Vivint is the monitoring experts backing up tripped alarms. When a component trips, your monitoring agents immediately contacts you to ensure you’re in a safe location. Then they’ll contact the fire or police departments.
Smart home devices
Automation components, such as smart bulbs, can be put in to make your rental home or apartment more efficient. Some components like a replacement smart thermostat or smart door locks may need prior management approval.
The Vivint App
Your Concord security system is able to be managed anywhere with the Vivint App. See real-time security feeds, remotely arm and disarm alarms and cameras, or set up times for all your smart devices. Then allow notifications to your smartphone if a device triggers or a camera picks up unsavory activity.
